Context
NEOM is the Kingdom's most ambitious giga-project — combining The Line, Oxagon, Trojena, and Sindalah across Tabuk region. Its land-use mandate commits to preserving 95% as nature, with extensive regenerative planting and curated green infrastructure. The Red Sea Project adds further premium landscape demand on the same coast.
Regional priorities
- Giga-project green cover establishment
- Coastal reforestation with low irrigation budgets
- Heritage and tourism-grade landscape quality
- ESG/sustainability-grade reporting alignment
Why LNC fits
Tabuk region's soils — coarse sand, saline-coastal patches, and elevation variability — span LNC's operational envelope. The scale and duration of giga-project planting cycles favor LNC's multi-year effect over shorter-duration alternatives.
Examples in NEOM & Tabuk region
- 01NEOM landscape masterplan consultation (planned)
- 02Red Sea reforestation pilot (planned)
- 03Coastal planting formulation development
FAQ
- Does SDC engage with NEOM directly?
- We engage with Saudi giga-projects at multiple phases — from masterplan consultation to pilot and deployment. Active conversations are NDA-protected; public references will follow as engagements mature.
- Can LNC handle NEOM's coastal saline conditions?
- Yes. Custom formulations address coastal salinity and establish the soil structure needed for sustained plant establishment in otherwise hostile conditions.
